Michael Jones is a second genreation Master Maine Guide with a deep passion for Maine's fishing traditions and the people who keep them alive. Growing up in Mount Vernon, Maine, he developed an early appreciation for the water and wild places that define the state. Over the years he has explored Maine's outdoors through kayaking, white water rafting, photography, skiing, hiking, hunting, and fly fishing.

Fly Tying

Classes are usually held at 6 PM on the first and third Thursdays of the month, except during summer break. The first Tuesday is for seasoned fly-tyers and the third Tuesday is for novice fly-tyers. If you plan on attending, please let Jack Ogden know by e-mailing him at discerningtouch@comcast.net. This is especially important if you are a novice and need to borrow fly tying tools or a vise.

Location of the classes has moved to the church.

Any additional events will be announced by e-mail to club members.
